Savoring and Celebrating the Fall Extravaganza!
The trees seem to be putting on a spectacular "Fall Fashion Week", displaying the latest trends in leaf couture with gorgeous shades of scarlet, orange, and gold. I thought it may be fun to do some research on fall colors and flavors and study their symbolic meanings to identify any connections between them.
In divination and color symbolism, colors often hold profound meanings and are thought to possess unique energies that can impact one's mood, feelings, and even fate. The colors scarlet, orange, and gold, often associated with fall, carry their special significance.
1. Scarlet:
A need for action, movement, and resolution in divinatory practices. It may symbolize strong emotions or desire.
2. Orange:
Creativity, warmth, and endurance, and emotional strength. Additionally, orange is the new balance between physical energy and mental wisdom. See what I did there? :0)
3. Gold:
A color of richness and purity symbolizes wealth, fortune, and success. It might point towards a period of abundance, achievement, and recognition in divinatory contexts.
Now, imagine stepping outside and being greeted by a kaleidoscopic carpet of leaves, each one a tiny masterpiece.
And the food! Oh my goodness! It's good that clothes are bulkier cause it's time to get rid of those plates full of lettuce and have a bowl of soup. Fall is the bearer of feasts and gatherings. Apples are crisper, pies are pie-er. The air is filled with the tantalizing aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. So let's talk about those as well.
4. Cinnamon:
When cinnamon appears, it signifies a time for passion, action, and transformation, a time to shed the old and embrace the new.
5. Nutmeg
Associated with luck, money, and health. In divination, encountering nutmeg might suggest a period of prosperity and abundance, a chance to gain or grow wealth, or opportunities for financial ventures.
I didn't know that nutmeg brought in so much good energy. I'm going to get some right now and sprinkle it everywhere.
I must admit, as I get older I celebrate the colder months. Less pressure to run all day and make the most out of every drop of sunshine. I think nature is with me on this. I'm ready to put on my stretchy pants and chunky sweater and walk with my Yeti filled with hot chocolate down nature's leafy runway.
Who's with me?
