The LoraTastic Sabbatical and Retraining Extravaganza

A Journey of Self-Discovery and New Adventures
Welcome, welcome all! Today, I invite you to embark on an exciting journey with me - the grand experiment known as the LoraTastic Sabbatical and Retraining Extravaganza. This blog post will give you a glimpse into my life after quitting my full-time job.
A New Beginning: After years of planning and saving, I bid farewell to my long-held full-time job. Perhaps it was the pandemic that nudged me, or just getting older; I don't know.
Embracing New Opportunities: I'm cheap. I didn't want to step away from work completely. Luckily, I landed an absolutely perfect part-time position at a Naturopathic School as an instructional designer. I could keep my skills up, and keep learning. I also took on freelance work.
Diverse Skill Sets: One thing I noticed as I was offering instructional design services, is that I would say to a person. I am an ID, (then I would go into a long explanation of what an ID does, which has nothing to do with email marketing.) And they would say. OH yes! I’d like someone to do my email marketing. So, I learned how to be an email marketing expert. Cause, money is money. (see above comment me = cheap)
A Glimpse into the LoraTastic Sabbatical and Retraining Extravaganza: As I write this, I'm already seven months into LoraTastic Sabbatical and Retraining Extravaganza, and I'm thrilled to share my experiences with you.
I hope you'll stick around to accompany me on this adventure.
